Jib Hire

Need a jib for filming in South West England? We may be able to help with our cost-effective small jib & operator hire.

Devonia Media operate a 14' jib running a stabilised, remotely controlled mirrorless camera (Panasonic GH5 or Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K as standard, although others may be used).

We use remote (wired or zero-latency wireless) monitoring with an innovative tripod control system, so not only can you see exactly what you're filming, but you'll have fingertip control over what's happening at the other end of the jib.

The advantage of our small, portable system is that it's fast and easy to set up, so is cost-effective to use and ideal for ENG, current affairs, documentary & promotional / advertising use. It can also be used in live productions.

Our jib system can be used single-operator or dual-operator. We can provide both operators, or we can work with your own production team. You'll be amazed at how cost-effective it can be.

Cablecam Hire

Alongside our jib we've invested in a convenient, easy-to-deploy cablecam system.

Our remotely operated cablecam is quick and easy to rig and lightweight, using a stabilised (gimbal mounted) camera - we have DJI X3Z & X5 cameras for this purpose, with 15mm or 14-42mm lenses. The cameras are remotely monitored and controlled.

With this type of lightweight, sub-1500g system we can set up without the need for specialist rigging, cherrypickers etc, bringing cablecam use well into the reach of ENG & documentary filming.

As with our jib, we're skilled enough to be able to use the cablecam either single- or dual-operator, either using our own operators or working in conjunction with yours.
